Introduction:

Dil ki hai ya kabar ki,

Maut ki pukaar hai,

Zindagi or bandagi ke,

Darmiyan ki aas hai,
Jo Mit na sakegi kabhi,

Arz ki woh pyaas hai.

Chorus:

Aye khuda, aye khuda, aye khuda.
Aye khuda, aye khuda, aye khuda.
Bikne wali jannato ka mujh ko hassel kiya hoa?
Aye khuda, aye khuda, Aye khuda.

Verse 1:

Khud gareemi, khud farebi, khud zulumat daur hain;
Khud adaabi, khud nasheeni, khud agahi kuch aur hain.
Kal agar meri zindagi mei, roshni ke ranj honge.
Yaadein hongi, ghum tu honge, par tere sang hum na honge.

Chorus:

Aasmano mein kya hai likha,
Aur phir kuch na mujh ko woh mila?

Aye khuda, aye khuda, aye khuda.

Aye khuda, aye khuda, aye khuda.

Verse 2:

Kal agar kisi yaad mein tum, Mil jaoge is tarah.
Aankhon mein bus aanso honge, par tere sang hum na honge.

Bridge 1:

Kal agar phir se mera jeena huwa
Tu dil ko mein yeh samjhaonga:
Pyar mein tere jo phir gira tu, tanha hi reh jaonga.

(Break)
Kyon mujhe kuch lamho ki muhtaji hogi?
Paas mere tu tu na hogi, par teri mujhe yeh aas hogi.

Chorus:

Aasmano mein kya tha likha,
Aur phir kuch na mujh ko woh mila?

Aye khuda, aye khuda, aye khuda.

Aye khuda, aye khuda, aye khuda.

Bridge 2:

Kyon kabhi in ranjishon ki dooriyan?
Hikaratein hi ban gayee hain, meri yeh majbooriyan.

Kal agar kisi waqt ki veeraaniyo mei,
Gir paronga, mar paronga, par kabhi na mein milonga,

Chorus:

Aasmano mein kya tha likha,
Aur phir kuch na mujh ko woh mila?
Aye khuda, aye khuda, aye khuda.
Bikne wali jannato ka mujh ko hassel kiya hoa?

Bikne wali jannato ka mujh ko hassel kiya hoa?

Aye khuda, aye khuda, Aye khuda.

Aye Khuda

Introduction:

Heart or grave,

To be alive or to live in slavery,

And the temptations of life,

This desire,
Which will never be able to be erased,

This is the earth’s thirst.

Chorus:

Oh God, oh God, oh God.
Oh God, oh God, oh God.
What did I achieve from these materialistic endeavors?
Oh God, oh God, oh God.

Verse 1:

The self-infliction, self-deception, are away to darkness;
The decorum, the positioning, some self-awareness.
Tomorrow I will grieve for my life.
Memories will turn me around, but I will not be with you.

Chorus:

Whatever was written in the heavens,
Why did I never receive it?

Oh God, oh God, oh God.
Oh God, oh God, oh God.

Verse 2:

Tomorrow, if I miss you, it shall be just that.
I will have tears in my eyes, as I will not be with you.

Bridge 1:

Tomorrow, if I get a chance to live once again

I will advise my heart this:

If I fall in love with you again, I shall be left lonely once again.

(Break)

Why should I be broken by moments?

You will not be with me, but even then I will still desire you.

Chorus:

Whatever was written in the heavens,
Why did I never receive it?

Oh God, oh God, oh God.
Oh God, oh God, oh God.

Bridge 2:

Is the reason for my humilitation consistenty our eternal separation?

These humiliations have become my handicap.

Tomorrow if in the darkness of some time,

I shall fall, I shall die, but I will never meet you,

Chorus:

Whatever was written in the heavens,
Why did I never receive it?
Oh God, oh God, oh God.
What did I achieve from these materialistic endeavors?

What did I achieve from these materialistic endeavors?

Oh God, oh God, oh God.

Introduction:

It is the heart’s desire,

A call from Love,

Between handicap and life.

Such is the prayer,

That it can never be eliminated;

You are that thirst.

Chorus:

Oh God, oh God, oh God.

Tell me this, oh God, tell me this:

What did I get from these illusions of heavens?

Oh God, oh God, oh God.

Verse 1:

Disbelief, hopelessness, pain, and sorrow are the times now.

To burn in love's path, these attributes are something else.

Tomorrow in my life, should there be melancholy of inability, There will be memories, and sadness, but I won’t be with you.

Bridge 1:

Whatever was written in the skies,

why did I not receive it?

Chorus 2:

Tomorrow, if I miss you, it shall be just that.
I will have tears in my eyes, as I will not be with you.

Verse 2:

From all around I shall smell the essence of Henna (flower),

Life will be spent believing in your promises.

Tomorrow if my heart complains to me about it,

I will still repeat the desire

To relive that one moment again.

Bridge 2:

Regardless of what may be written in the skies,

You shall still always remain mine.

Chorus 3:

Oh God, oh God, oh God.

Tell me this, oh God, tell me this:

What did I get from these illusions of heavens?

Oh God, oh God, oh God.

Who am I? A nobody with nothing to claim

Whom chants in obsessions of loving pain;

Sometimes reflected in the Nothingness

of poetry,

Sometimes in music and all things inane.

Is not Asaad, is of-Essence: ‘for

I am seen dancing by deaf to music

and thought insane!’

MUSIC

Welcome to Asaad Riaz's debut album, Hinabandi. The first single from the album is Aye Khuda. The lyrics put into words how a lover cries out to God why he wasn’t destined to spend his life with his beloved. The song is rich with the essence of love and feelings of heartache. It leaves the listener hanging on to every word as it touches the heart. Aye Khuda is the sound of a melody pouring out of one’s heart, with deep longing for answers. It is a song for those who have felt the deep feelings of love, and insecurity about the future.
